1926 Follmer Utility
This rare Canadian Beauty was built by Louis Follmer and Leo Tassier At Les Cheneaux in 1926. She has a 6'10" beam and a 23" draft and was built as a runabout then remodeled by Tassier in 1953 as a utility. The original power was provided by a 50HP Kermath. She now sports a Chrysler Marine 155HP that really moves her along! She is 1 of 2 remaining of a production of seven hulls that year. In 2005 she received a total comprehensive restoration sparing no expense. The gloss black hull sides are mirror like and her white stripped mahogany decks and interior are fabulous. Also the recent forest green cushions only enhance her beauty. The flooring is also new Nautilex in brown with black stripping. She sits on a beautiful custom tandem trailer made just for her! The "nubs" are still on the tires!
